Members of the SSDC lab attended the 2025 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Regional Student Conference which took place at École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) in Montreal, Canada on 20 - 21 March 2025.

Undergraduate students Jason Zhang and Chloe Saldanha did a great job presenting their papers titled "Evaluation of Tethered Satellite System Models for Simulating Post-Capture Debris Towing" and "Particle Swarm Optimization-Based Costate Initialization for Minimum Time Transfers Between Cislunar Periodic Orbits", respectively. Both of the works will later be published on the AIAA Aerospace Research Central portal. Congratulations Jason and Chloe!

The SSDC lab would like to acknowledge the UB Experiential Learning Network and UB Research and Creative Activities for Undergraduates for financially assisting Jason and Chloe to attend the conference.
